Orkla India IPO 2025 official announcement – MTR and Eastern brands parent company

Orkla India IPO 2025: MTR and Eastern Spices Parent Launches ₹10,000 Cr Public Issue on Oct 29

Orkla India IPO 2025 is making waves in the Indian market as the parent company of MTR Foods and Eastern Spices gears up for its much-awaited initial public offering. Backed by Norway-listed conglomerate Orkla ASA, the FMCG major has officially filed its Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) with the Registrar of Companies on October 23, 2025. The IPO is scheduled to open for public subscription on October 29 and close on October 31, 2025.

The Orkla India IPO 2025 is structured as a pure offer-for-sale (OFS) of 2.28 crore equity shares by existing shareholders — Orkla Asia Pacific, Navas Meeran, and Feroz Meeran. The company has also reserved up to 30,000 equity shares for eligible employees. Since the IPO is entirely an OFS, all proceeds (excluding issue expenses) will go directly to the selling shareholders.

According to the RHP, the anchor book for Orkla India IPO 2025 will open on October 28, one day prior to the public issue. The basis of allotment will be finalized by November 3, and Orkla India shares are expected to list on the NSE and BSE on November 6, 2025.

Promoter Orkla Asia Pacific currently holds an 89.54% stake in the company, while other shareholders Navas Meeran and Feroz Meeran collectively own 10.46%.
